I worked with indie music label, Hand in Hive, to create a logo and some brand assets to reflect their name and their fresh approach to management.
Around the London marathon in 2016, JustGiving launched a campaign called #PoweredByPeople, encouraging people to share who, and what, powered them through – giving thanks to the people who both sponsored them and got them through the gruelling months of training.
We created a social hub to collate the stories people were telling us, and also a personalised landing page for each fundraiser. The page took them through their marathon journey and gave them content to share with their supporters to encourage some last minute donations.
The landing page was incredibly well received (and won an award!)
Be a Low Carbon Leader
I created this A6 booklet to be handed out at The Climate Group’s 10th anniversary event. The booklet re-states The Climate Group’s values, and sets out their vision for how 2020 should look in a low carbon world.
I was tasked with creating a document that re-asserted The Climate Group’s brand guidelines; with four global offices, we wanted to ensure that everyone was using the brand correctly.
JustGiving DNA Icon Set
At JustGiving, we wanted to stop using FontAwesome and have a set of our own icons for the UI and dev teams to use.
I created a full set, including crowdfunding category icons, based on a grid system with 45 degree angles to mirror the angles in our G logo mark.
JustGiving Awards 2015
JustGiving's annual awards ceremony is an evening to recognise the exceptional fundraisers and charities that use our platform.
Each event has a visual theme, and in 2015 we focused on light – the light that shines from within our fundraisers and draws others towards them. We wanted to highlight the connections that JustGiving provides, while throwing light on some of the incredible things people do for charity.
We worked with external agencies to create the branding and films, and created the rest of the collateral in house. I art directed photo shoots, created stage animations and designed the printed materials, digital marketing and landing page for the event.
We received more than twice as many nominations as the previous year, and the event was hailed "the best JustGiving Awards ever". Plus, we had Superman there. Wins all around!
UniSA iOS app
I worked with the University of South Australia’s international department to design this iOS application to help increase their international student recruitment. I wireframed the app, designed all elements of the UI and worked with the developer on the transitions, user testing and deployment to the App Store.
I also subsequently worked on the Android version of the app, as well as Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions.
BT Net Good infographic
As part of my work with The Climate Group, I worked with BT to create this infographic which explains their Net Good 3:1 model which helps businesses to take the first steps to lower their emissions.
BT wanted it to be outside of their branding guidelines, so I created something fresh, clean and sharable. I designed and illustrated all of the graphic assets.
